Props to Comptech

The bolt that connects the endlink to the lower control arm on the comptech sway bar came loose and the bolt and stepped bushings fell off somewhere. I just called comptech and replacements are enroute, no problem, no charge. Now that's service, it makes the ungodly price of their parts seem worth it all of a sudden!!!!

It it goes rip rip there are large issues than price. In this biz you -usually- get what you pay for, and I don't anyone that has any complaints (here they come, I'm sure) with Comptech products. Everyone I know raves about them. So I'll wait for the fresh bolt to arrive.....

Nexxus, maybe I'm missing something here..but just bolt..go to a hardware store and get a bolt yourself for like five cents.

Why waste even 5 cents when they will give you all the necessary parts for free. Was it the endlink that fell off, if so that would have been hard to find at a hardware store. And the other mounting hardware would have needed to be fabricated like the spacer and the large nut that surrounds the existing nut that is welded on. I would say Lock-tite it this time so that nothing falls off again, I have had no problems at all with mine and it has been on for well over a year now.

As you can see by my signature, I really like Comptech products. The only problem I ever had was with my muffler exhaust tip. It seems the inside of the tip was oxidizing (rusting) a little bit. I e-mailed Comptech and they said if you live in a high moisture area (Ma.) talk a wire wheel clean the surface rust and clear coat over it. It worked fine, but if it didn't I was prepared to fight for a new one.
